About us
Oliomap.com was created in 2006 by Vincent Tervooren to respond to a growing demand from SVO and WVO users to have an identified network of service providers and SVO/WVO distributors. Being already very active in the field of biofuels through the SVO promotion association Oliomobile.org I didn't want to see any organisation with a non-sustainable approach to take over the task. Oliomap.com is therefore dedicated to the small organisations with a sustainable approach to biofuels.
Our mission
Our Mission is to serve the public by providing the broadest and most extensive network of biofuel related organisations. By working together as a community we hope to help this network to get organised globally and gain visibility.
We believe in the tremendous economic, environmental and social benefits that the development of small scale biofuel economies can provide globally compared to todays centralised and oligopolistic fossil fuel economy. Oliomap should be the tool that will help small scale biofuel production and distribution organisations to gain the visibility that will help them gain economic viability.

"I believe that the combined rise of the internet and the values of sustainable development in the restructuring of our society will help us build a better future for ourselves and our children. Although biofuels as well as sustainable development are still imperfect in their definition and application, we have to make sure that they are not applied using old and inefficient paradigms of development. Internet can help the biofuel economy develop in a small, efficient and responsible manner. Oliomap.com will try to help with that. Yes, I do believe that a better future is still possible."
